Zeus Stratios
Zeus Stratios ('Zeus of the Army') was a god worshipped in Pontus and other parts of Anatolia, probably a Greek form of an Iranian sky god identified with Ahura Mazda. Appian describes Mithridates VI offering a great burnt sacrifice to him in the Persian manner, and a mountain sanctuary of Zeus Stratios near Amaseia (Amasya) remained in use in Roman times.
