Caerleon

Also known as Isca Augusta

Caerleon is a town on the River Usk near Newport in south Wales. Around 75 CE the Romans built the legionary fortress of Isca Augusta there as the base of the Second Legion Augusta, whose amphitheatre, baths and barracks survive. Geoffrey of Monmouth later made Caerleon one of King Arthur's courts.
