Dala Hill

Dala Hill is a rocky hill inside the old city of Kano in northern Nigeria. According to the Kano Chronicle, its iron ore and the cult of a local spirit drew the first settlers, and Kano's earliest communities lived around it before the city walls were built. It remains a landmark and a lookout over the old city.
