Deir el-Bersha
Deir el-Bersha is an ancient cemetery on the east bank of the Nile in Middle Egypt, opposite Mallawi. Its rock-cut tombs belonged mainly to the nomarchs of the Hare nome in the Middle Kingdom. The tomb of Djehutyhotep contains a famous scene of a colossal statue being dragged on a sledge by teams of workers.
