Early Bronze Age

c. 3300–2000 BCE

The Early Bronze Age is the first phase of the Bronze Age in the Near East and the Aegean, roughly 3300 to 2000 BCE. In the Levant it saw the first walled towns, such as Megiddo; in Greece, sites like Tiryns and Orchomenos grew into substantial settlements with large central buildings, long before the Mycenaean palaces.
