Person
Masuna
Masuna was a Berber king in western Algeria, named in an inscription of 508 at Altava as king of the peoples of the Moors and Romans. He is probably the Massonas whom Procopius describes as an ally of the Byzantine general Solomon against other Berber rulers in 535. His kingdom is one of the best-attested successor states of Roman Mauretania.
