Rathore
The Rathores are a Rajput clan of north-western India, who ruled Marwar from Mandore and then Jodhpur from the 15th century. Branches founded the states of Bikaner, Kishangarh, Idar, Ratlam and many smaller principalities in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Malwa. Many Rathore princes served as commanders of the Mughal Empire, and their states lasted until 1947.
