Regni

Also known as Regnenses

The Regni or Regnenses were the people of the Roman civitas centred on Noviomagus Reginorum, modern Chichester, in what is now Sussex. The area formed part of the client kingdom of Togidubnus after the Roman conquest of 43. Their name may mean the people of the kingdom.
