Rima River
The Rima River is a river of north-western Nigeria that flows through Sokoto State and joins the Sokoto River near the city of Sokoto, whose waters then run south to the Niger. Its seasonally flooded valley, farmed and fished by the Kebbawa and other Hausa peoples, was the heartland of the Kebbi kingdom and later of the Sokoto Caliphate.
