Tazeroualt
Tazeroualt is a region in the western Anti-Atlas of southern Morocco, south of the Sous valley. It holds the shrine of the 16th-century saint Sidi Ahmed ou Moussa, and in the 17th century his descendants made Iligh the capital of a sharifate that controlled caravan routes to Timbuktu and the Atlantic coast. The family remained influential local lords into the 19th century.
