Person
Tur Ali Beg
Tur Ali Beg was an early leader of the Aq Qoyunlu Turkmen tribes of the Bayandur clan, who pastured around Diyarbakır and the upper Tigris in the first half of the fourteenth century. He led raids on the Empire of Trebizond in the 1340s, and his son Qutlu Beg later turned this hostility into an alliance through marriage to a Trebizond princess.
