War of the Euboeote Succession

1256–1258 · 13th century

The War of the Euboeote Succession was fought from 1256 to 1258 between William II of Villehardouin, prince of Achaea, and a coalition of the lords of Euboea, Venice and Guy I de la Roche of Athens, over the succession to a lordship in Euboea. William's victory at Karydi in 1258 confirmed his supremacy in Latin Greece.
