Zenodorus
Zenodorus was an Ituraean ruler of the 1st century BCE who leased the lands of Lysanias, including Trachonitis, Auranitis and Batanaea. Accused of tolerating brigands, he lost these territories when Augustus gave them to Herod the Great in 23 BCE, and on his death in 20 BCE Augustus gave Herod his remaining lands around Paneas.
