Dungannon
Dungannon is a town in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It was the chief seat of the O'Neill kings of Tír Eoghain from the late Middle Ages, with their inauguration site at nearby Tullyhogue, and Hugh O'Neill ruled from its castle. In 1782 a convention of the Irish Volunteers there demanded legislative independence for Ireland.
