Kebra Nagast
The Kebra Nagast, or Glory of the Kings, is an Ethiopian text compiled in Ge'ez in the medieval period. It tells of the Queen of Sheba, King Solomon and their son Menelik I, and the bringing of the Ark of the Covenant to Ethiopia. It provided the Solomonic legitimacy of the Ethiopian Empire's rulers and drew on Aksumite traditions.
