Kumma
Kumma was an Egyptian fortress of the Middle Kingdom on the east bank of the Nile at the Semna gorge, south of the Second Cataract in Lower Nubia, facing the fortress of Semna on the west bank. Built under Senusret III, it helped guard Egypt's southern frontier. Its temple was moved to Khartoum before the site was flooded by Lake Nasser.
