Craig Phadrig
Craig Phadrig is a hillfort on a wooded hill on the western edge of Inverness in the Scottish Highlands. Its stone ramparts were built in the Iron Age and later burned so fiercely that the stone fused, making it a vitrified fort. Excavations show it was reoccupied in the early medieval period, and it has been suggested as the fortress of the Pictish king Bridei visited by Columba.
