Ea-nasir

fl. c. 1750 BCE · 18th century BCE

Ea-nasir was a merchant of Ur around 1750 BCE who imported copper by way of Dilmun. He is known from tablets found in his house, above all a letter in which a customer, Nanni, complains angrily about poor-quality copper and rude treatment. The tablet, in the British Museum, is often called the oldest known written customer complaint.
