Francia
Francia was the realm of the Franks in western Europe, covering much of present-day France, the Low Countries and western Germany. It formed the heart of the Carolingian Empire, and its forces under Charles Martel halted the Umayyad Caliphate's advance at the Battle of Tours in 732.
