Isle of Mull
The Isle of Mull is the second-largest island of the Inner Hebrides, off the west coast of Scotland in Argyll, separated from the mainland by the Sound of Mull. In the early Middle Ages it lay within the Gaelic kingdom of Dál Riata, close to the monastery of Iona off its western tip, and it later belonged to the Lordship of the Isles and the Macleans of Duart. Its chief town is Tobermory.
