Oder River
The Oder is a river of central Europe flowing north through present-day Czechia, Poland and Germany into the Baltic Sea. Sweden secured its mouth in Pomerania during the Thirty Years' War in the 1630s. Control of the Oder estuary was part of the Baltic dominion on which the Swedish Empire was built.
