Nuremberg

Nuremberg is a city in Franconia, in southern Germany, which became one of the most important free imperial cities of the Holy Roman Empire. Along with Frankfurt and Augsburg it grew wealthy as a commercial centre exploiting the empire's central European transit position. It was also a centre of crafts, printing and humanist learning.
